18 Years

Timmy has appeared to developed quite well physically. He has developed to a average size child over the years. His cognitive development over the years has been great. Timmy has gotten great grades over and was in classes higher than his grade level. Emotionally Timmy seems to be on a roller coaster ride up and down from day to day. He gets down for days at a time then he tends to bounce back. Overall he seems to be stable emotionally over the years. Timmy's morals have been great over the years but, has lied about using drugs and drinking alcohol in his high school years. I don't think I could predict his pathways. Timmy could have been a bad child and teenager due to the breakup with my partner.

I believe my parenting mattered in a lot of ways. I was a very active parent with Timmy while he was growing up. I wasn't a real over bearing parent with Timmy but, I was strict at times with him in his teenage years. Also I always pushed him in science stuff over the years.

Timmy's development was hampered by a head injury he suffered while skateboarding. He seemed to be slowed in school by his head injury. Timmy made a full recovery from his injury after a couple of years. I believe Timmy is the average american child. He was a pretty tame child and got into some trouble as a teenager with alcohol and drugs but, seems like all teenagers experiment with drugs and alcohol these days.

16 Years 11 Months

I feel Timmy should take science courses in college to help him get in a job in the science field.
It's been very important for Timmy to have a good peer relationship. He seems to more a follower than a leader, so having a good peer relationship is needed for his social development. Timmy's emotional well-being has been a roller coaster ride for Timmy last 2 years. He has flashes of getting along with his parents and fighting with his parents. On the other hand Timmy's school achievement has been very successful last two years by getting great grades in school.

Timmy has adjusted I guess you can say just "ok". He has experimented with drugs at a party but denied it. He has also been around alcohol and unknown if he has tried it. I found a beer bottle in car after he used it the night before. Timmy has had some interest with a girl his age but its unknown if they had sex up till this point. I have talked to Timmy about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and the dangers of drinking and driving. Also I have talked to him about having sex at his age.

14 Years 11 Months

Timmy has been involved in biology and inexpensive microscope was purchased. Timmy has never been into physical fitness. He was pushed into sports when he was younger, but he didn't seem to like sports.

Timmy's behavior has changed slighty over the years. I believe its because my mate and I have separated. I feel also its due to fact that Timmy is in his teenage years and its very common and responding by keeping a close eye on him and let it run its course.

12 Years 11 Months

Timmy's looks have matured in just one year. His behavioral signs of incipient puberty have been he is more in interested in his appearance as a result of some compliments from a girl from in his grade. Also Timmy wants some cool clothes for the up and coming school year. Timmy seems to be obsessed with looking cool when the 7th grade starts this fall.

I feel Timmy continues to be under controlled at this point. He seems like a very calm child so far, but his teenage years are right around the corner.

Timmy's 7th grade report card states his word reading, spelling and writing skills are strong. He got A's in 7th grade English, Social Studies, and Spanish. Also Timmy got a A in math which placed him in grade above in math and A in science. As a result of his good grades in math he was able to make honors math in 8th grade.

10 Years 11 Months

Timmy I feel is doing very well in school. He enjoys reading and continues to have a interest in science. Timmy's report card shows he demonstrates strength in all areas of reading, spelling, and appropriate for grade level in writing. He has shown appropriate for grade level in the areas of speaking, listening, and content knowledge of social studies. Also has appropriate for grade level in the areas mathematical problem solving, understanding data, number concepts, graphical applications, and arithmetic. I believe Timmy is doing great in school and I will not intervene will his school work just yet.

Timmy is somewhat shy around new adults and is quiet at school. He does better if hes hanging out in small group and has only one friend in school and one friend in the neighborhood. He does have a slight behavior at school his 5th grade teacher reports. His teacher states he gets stressed inside and outside the classroom, and will withdraw from activities or become moody or anxious. Timmy also get upset very easy if my partner and I ague in front of him. He has had a lot of stomach problems and was diagnosed with a small ulcer. The way I plan of fixing these problems with Timmy is stop arguing with my partner in front of him.

I don't feel my parenting has changed much since his preschool days. Timmy is a smart and shy child and I don't want to put too much stress on him by me changing my parenting style.

8 Years 10 Months

I feel Timmy is a smart child. Timmy is a very smart child when it comes to science. He has been involved in science camp for last two years. Timmy is still a little shy in a group and is never the leader of the group. Timmy is working with the fourth grade math group in third grade and doing well. Timmy's spatial test was well above children his age.

Timmy is a typical american boy. He spends a lot of time playing sports, roughhousing, riding bikes, and skateboarding thru the neighborhood. This is what a typical american boy does for his age. Also Timmy and most of his friends act as though girls are "yacky"and to be avoided. The girls are "yacky" is very typical for a boy Timmy's age.

6 Years 11 Months

Timmy is slow to warm up in outside social situations. Timmy is a bit shy and slow to warm up in small groups and tends to follow not lead. In home social situations Timmy seems to do well like playing memory games (concentration). Timmy does misbehave a couple of hours after mom and dad argue. He also seems to be more sensitive than his sister. Overall Timmy's behavior problems seem to be normal for his age, so at this time I will monitor his behavior.

Timmy has improved in cognitive and language skills. He started to read some easy rhyming books and is reading first and second grade books. Also he is able to hold his own in conversations with adults, and uses some surprisingly difficult words in his speech. At this time he doesn't have any special needs in cognitive or language development.

Timmy behavior continues to be normal for child his age. His personality seems to be mellowat times he enjoys inside activities over outside activities. Hes not the type of child that enjoys playing outside with kids his age.

4 Years 10 Months

At this time I would characterize my parenting style as very easy going with Timmy. I don't feel my specific parenting techniques changed.

In what ways do you think your parenting style, or any other aspect of your parenting has been influenced by your culture, background or other experiences? It's been influenced by my background. I raise my child how my parents raised me.

Timmy's behavior has changed, he nows gets along and listens to his teacher and behaves when hes out in public. Timmy language ability had improved greatly over the years. He is able to write his own name and read a few words.

I feel Timmy is resilient child. It seems like Timmy has his good days and his bad days. It seems like if theres alot stress in his life he acts out of control.

3 years 10 months

Timmy has made friends in preschool and has to be reminded not to talk to them during rug time. I talked to Timmy how its important to give his teacher his full attention during rug time. I have tried to introduce Timmy to playing catch and kicking around a mini-soccer ball, but he seem to prefer quiet activities. Overall Timmy is doing well in school and getting along with other children.

Timmy has come along well with his language skills he sings along to songs in class. Timmy now can rely on complete sentences and seems to understand most of what you say. He often points out when someone doesn't do something in right order. Timmy fantasy play has gotten more and more elaborate, sometimes involving superheroes, or mommy daddy. I feel his new language skills is going to be a positive thing, because Timmy and I will be able to communicate better which will lead to a better understanding of one another.

Timmy is adapting well to social situations in school and at home. He seems to get along with other children well, but is more a follower than a leader. Timmy at time does have a behavior problem at times. He tends to be a little compliant and somewhat more aggressive at school. Also I don't feel he has any emotional problems at this time. At this time I don't think this is a problem I believe it's a part of growing up. I feel Timmy is going thru his terrible 3's. If it continues much longer I will be forced to take action on Timmy.

30 months

There have been multiple environmental events that have affected Timmy. Timmy was over a neighbor's house when he was scratched by their cat. Since then Timmy has been very clingy and whiny than usual. Timmy had a accident on his hot wheel tricycle by falling off a curb and got scratched up and had been avoiding riding his tricycle lately. Also since Timmy has turned 2 y.o his daycare provider has changed. Timmy was initially excited about it but within a week is clingy and crying more often and has difficulty cooperating with the daycare provider. Thing have gotten better with the daycare provider, but still Timmy has not built a good relationship with the new care provider. My partner just found out that she is pregnant and we wonder how Timmy is going react to this news.

Timmy is having some problems in certain areas, but i feel as he gets older these will go away. For example Timmy refuses to put a jacket on before he heads outside. Timmy is friendly with other children, but sometimes has problems with sharing with other children. Also Timmy seems to be very concerned with pleasing you and following the rules.
